Respected traditions and modern interpretations come together as property developer EcoWorld highlights the virtue of respecting the elders with this light-hearted video, #BergayaRayaDiHariRaya.
Produced by Malaysian creative agency FOREFRONT, the video paints a familiar picture of a multi-generational family’s Raya morning—but with a twist.
The younger generation is seen upholding age-old traditions, while the grandparents take on modern influences to add to the lively Raya morning atmosphere. Such contrast serves as a humorous reminder that we are living in changing times and we must treasure our family.
“We used vibrant colours alongside familiar festive elements to create impactful scenes. Several Hari Raya celebratory staples such as kuih dahlia, chicken curry, and ketupat are prominently displayed throughout the video to deliver a nostalgic, and at the same time, hopeful narrative.”
“Our team chose such whimsical creative direction to set a different tone for our long-time client EcoWorld. The message is unique enough, but at the same time retains the core values of the brand,” said Jeff Chang, Chief Operating Officer at FOREFRONT.
The video showcases EcoWorld’s dedication to “Creating Tomorrow and Beyond”, as family members, young and old, make the most out of the festive season with the best of both worlds.
