Would YOU stand for Malaysia?
While our Olympians were in Rio representing Malaysia, the FOREFRONT crew set up cameras at HYPE Concept Cafe to conduct a social experiment. We staged a scene with some of our #Forefronteers as extras. Throughout the day we recorded the unscripted reactions, and patriotism, of average Malaysian patrons.Posted by Forefront on Tuesday, 30 August 2016
A local company recently did a social experiment in a café to see if Malaysians would stand up when they hear ‘Negaraku’ being played.
To their delight, everyone did. Though there were some who hesitated, all of them stood up to show respect to our country’s national anthem.
Like the national flag, the national anthem is a representation of a nation’s core values and heritage. It’s also a symbol of our pride towards our country, any athlete contesting at an international event will tell you how proud they are to hear their national anthem being played at the stadium.
So, don’t ever doubt. Stand up for Malaysia.
