Malaysian agency Forefront has appointed its co-founder Jeff Chang as CEO of its creative agency. He takes over from founder Darien Mah who has moved to the role of chairman to explore new ventures.
Chang was most recently chief operating officer at Forefront. A note from the agency said: “He will take charge of the overall vision and growth strategy of Forefront’s multifaceted creative arm.”
Chang’s agenda includes expanding the company into markets such as Vietnam and Indonesia and boosting employee morale.
Speaking about Chang’s promotion Mah said: “Jeff has been co-leader of the company since day one, and his deep understanding of the business and clients’ needs brings great value to Forefront. I am confident that Jeff will energise the workplace and further explore the company’s untapped potential.”
Chang said: “To adapt to new challenges moving forward, we are prepared to navigate through the competitive landscape of Southeast Asia. By having regular check-ins with our team members, we can ensure that values and standards are well understood throughout the group.”
